You don't tell anyone you've chosen your guy until it's time to announce especially if you are required to interview X number of candidates.

There is no reason to delay the announcement IF it is a "done deal". No announcement means no deal.

Yea, that would be nice. Yesterday was priceless when DrJP said he believes Hart already has his man. Hyams couldn't believe he said that. I can't stand that "wanna be radio host" that call's in named Chris. He called in telling the fans to "get real, Gruden ain't coming." I believe John and Jimmy hate him more than me and I literally can't freaking stand hearing him ramble on.

I honestly don't think the ESPN contract is the holdup. JMO, and this is purely speculative, but I think the contract that needs to run out is the one from Tampa... He wants to get every cent from them before he moves on. Just a gut feeling no link.

I agree with you on that and I can't blame him at all.
