Look's like "today" had turned into "tomorrow" again, with a few even saying "next week" now? I don't know who or what to believe?

No idea. Could be. They are good friends and apparently get together a lot to study film. He sounded strange on the reference to a 3:15am text but didn't make the getting together in Tampa sound out of the ordinary.

They asked him if they thought Gruden would be in the booth or jump back into coaching. He just immediately came out with a comment about Gruden being in the booth next year. Again, it could all be smoke. Just passing on info from the interview.

this is what I was driving towards, I am not in that circle and the OG's in here have been kind enough to share as they can.

yes, anyone could predict the turmoil. I believe it Lex stated it as soon as dooley was official that there will be a lot of uncomfortable names thrown around.

either way I am just glad to get something here - otherwise it would be AM radio drivel.

Hyams is dumb...He was probably distracted by the story he was writing about Kiffin leaving, that he just found out about yesterday...

I've been ready as well.

I think that's why I'm taking it better than others. I actually feel better when denials, smokescreens and other BS surface than when there's complete silence.

It means something is happening.

If we get Gruden, people will think Hart is the man for a long time to come.

If we don't get Gruden, and get stuck with Strong, Golden, etc..... the guy will public enemy #1.

If anything yesterday showed me, they had been talking to Gruden, no matter what we were told by press or AD's office. I don't know if something got screwed up, though.

THERE IT IS a member of this board for three whole days and the first snarky azz reply ..wow I don't know whether to feel insulted or welcomed

JUST for the sake of defending my orange I was on full scholarship at UT for 4 years under DR J and marched in the band that whole time. I have been a season ticket holder for over 20 years and yes I give to the AD because it is what we do

People are too emotional to step back and try to think about all that has been said from the beginning and use common sense.
This isn't anything that wasn't expected and right now is the worst time of the process. It's almost over, and now more than ever is the time to keep your proverbial sh*t together while the proverbial sh*t seems like it is hitting the fan.

1) Don't believe anything local media tells ya ( they either haven't had a clue from the start or they are part of a massive cover up.....for many reasons I believe it's the cover up)
2) I've had just as much info both ways so I can't say for certain which way this will go.
3) Based on what I know and decifering all the info it's either:
Gruden was the man and something happened at last minute or
Gruden is still the guy and nothing has changed.

Based on a plethora of information.... like I said before
I'm thinking Gruden til its not.
