That is the real question. If Hart has not contacted Grudens camp, what the hell has he been doing?

Which doesn't make sense to me. Gruden's in-laws are here, his wife went to school here, and they come back often. He wouldn't give us the bird like this.

Maybe Gruden wants this quiet until MNF is over, I don't know.

Few thoughts:

1) This isn't dead until UT hires the coach. I really firmly believe that. That being said, I'll admit that the Lemonte statement is really sour....

2) This statement is downright embarassing. If we don't get Gruden, Hart officially *****ed up big time. You have to control this fiasco or things like that happen.

3) Don't hate on the OGs yet. Even if we go in a different direction, it sounds like Hart was handed Gruden on a silver platter and somehow managed to ***** it up.

If we were this misled and uninformed about Gruden like so many believe in here, then why is there any reason to talk about other candidates. We would just be misled again right? Just sit back and wait to see what happens. Gruden 12

So is this our lowest point? Not just cause we didn't get Gruden but cause we really look stupid nationally after the agents comment.

Saban and Meyer denied too. Just saying. Why would the boosters be spreading these stories around if they weren't true? Thy have nothing to gain from that. I've heard too much stuff that lines up exactly with what others were told for me to believe its over. I am no longer 100% but I still all Gruden.

If Gruden was genuinely interested in the job, why would he let his agent use such harsh words as "fantasy world". That makes zero sense to me.

It sounds like maybe some bad sh!t went down in the negotiations because you just never see an agent use language like that.

Makes zero sense to me.

I'd agree IMO Gruden and Lamonte just showed us what they think of the Vols with their choice of words. Lots of ways that could have been stated.

Man, I just read the LaMonte quotes. I would love to know where the truth is in all of this. This contradicts everything that has been posted on here and much of what has been reported in the media.

It may be over, but nothing about the narrative lines up to make sense.

I'll be here no matter what happens. You guys can take your best shots.....after we hire somebody else.

Nothing. As has been stated on multiple shows. Hart did not start till this week. We just fell for all the smoke screen talk. Just read the posts, we sound exactly like the people on grudenville, yet they are crazy and we were the sane ones?

The latest go vols extra article sounds ridiculous...that can't be true regardless if Gruden comes...these reports make no sense.
