LOL at people wanting to blame Hart for this. Gruden doesn't want to come here, deal with it. No need to lay blame if someone is not interested. Grow up and move on.

You are crazy if you think Hart isn't to blame. I don't believe the story but even if it was true Hart should have found out Gruden wasn't interested weeks ago and let that leak out. This would have been best for the university and the new coach.

What are really disturbing are these people that claimed to be fans. Hardly anyone would argue that Gruden would have been great for UT and yet they come in here and say “Come on back down here with us and wallow in our cesspool. How dare you believe that we could land a big time coach".
I am afraid we are witnessing the death of Tennessee football as we know it from the 90’s early 2000’s.

Regardless of whether this is all smoke and mirrors, I want to comment that I just read Woodberry's article. It is apparent that he is quoting LaMonte but it does not appear as though Woodberry actually spoke to LaMonte!!!

Is Woodberry getting this information from the UT Athletic Department or some other source or did he actually talk to LaMonte which I seriously doubt!!!!

If Lamonte REALLY said what is being reported, then I think Dave Hart HAS to address it publicly.


We just asked out the hottest girl at the dance and she just threw a cup of punch in our face in front of everyone.

If it's not addressed publicly we will be hurting ourselves with both recruits AND prospective coaches.

UT has to move to make Gruden out to be the bad guy if in fact all this is true.
