Maybe he will see Gruden in D.C because he is interviewing redskin players about the monday night game. This I do know- nobody knows anything solid, and if they do , they are not talking about it. All I did was keep it real this whole time, sharing info, and my opinion as to what that info has meant to me. Yes, I am of the opinion Gruden is not coming but other than a few *******s that like to make their ****ty lives with fat ugly wives seem better by "being right", I have been here and open to discuss anything.

Then again there are those that take pride in making others feel bad, so they can feel better about being miserable. I think you are one of those people.

I wasn't too sure if you were trustworthy when I first started reading but I do think you're just trying to be honest. Keep the faith!

My guess is that Gruden turned us down, and the reason his agent said what he did is because he was trying to save face for the guy UT does actually hire. No one wants to be the second choice and always know the only reason they got the job was because choice #1 turned them down

If this is dead, what has hart been doing the last few weeks? He really needs to come up with something really good if he wants any support from the fans and boosters.

I am glad we made a run for gruden, but there should have been a backup plan in the event it didnt work out. It doesnt appear to be the case at this moment. Very frustrated.

what do you want him to do?!?! Every other quality candidate still has games left this weekend. My God. Assuming this deal is infact dead, his hands are tied until after Saturday.

If Hart were to hire Franklin yesterday this place would be in an uproar about the decision and everyone would be asking "why not wait till after this weekend and go after a better coach" but when Hart waits (like it seems he is doing now) everyone freaks out and says "why isn't he doing anything. wahh wahh wahhhh.

You all would believe EVERYTHING pro-Gruden and NOTHING con-Gruden. Everything that was good was true, and everything bad was a smokescreen or a lie.

I just think it was weird. Never seen something like that.

I think we all wanted Gruden.

Hargis on the Animal and state without a doubt that it is the money for assistants. Pretty much blasting UT tradition. Says that tradition can't be sold to kids anymore, says it has to be all about the future.


Also says that there was NEVER a contract.....just negotiations. He says that yeah, maybe UT didn't want to break the bank but hey it's Gruden and Gruden wanted to be the coach therefore we should pay it. The guy wanted Gruden and has NOTHING good to say about UT. Sounds like a pompous A-hole to me. He says that his stuff is 100% accurate and factual.

Riddle me this. How can someone that I haven't even heard of before this week have an absolute 100% sure source and NO ONE ELSE in the country has this?

The only facts that I believe is that we will never know what the true numbers were and that Gruden never wanted to negotiate. He came in with a best and final offer before anything ever got started and UT couldn't get the money. I believe Hart was told that he had X amount of money and Gruden wanted a not insignificant amount more. Guys, when you can't buy the house, you can't buy the house.

Isn't this the same kind of conjecture you were bashing me for? There are no facts in this statements? Where is your concrete source supporting this line of thinking? Sucks when someone acts like condescending a-hole to beef up his own ego, doesn't it?
