You are free to have whatever opinion you wish to have. This whole deal is crazy. It looks like there's a full-scale war between boosters and the UT leadership. I really don't know what to think right now. If we hire someone other than Gruden, I'll be here like I said to take whatever.

I never have any inside info but do have a couple friends there are mid-level boosters, full blown meltdown right now from text I got. Hart not popular.

You can say what you want, but no one really knows. With all of the talk, I am fairly confident in saying that someone spoke to Gruden about the job, and it was more than Hart just doing his "due diligence."

The agent's statement was simply damage control for Gruden. What makes Gruden look better: 1) We wanted more money than UT was willing to or could come up with, or 2) UT sucks and it was a fantasy that Lord Jon would ever consider coaching there?

Give me a break, if you believe that freaking agent then you deserve what ever misery this gives you.

I had a feeling that if these talks ended and both sides determined there would never be an agreement you would see some off the wall blanket statements like Lamonte gave today. I didn't expect him to be an ass and call it a fantasy, but this is what I thought would happen if this didnt' go down.

Everyone keep their wits about them, this is not TN's fault. We threw everything we could at Gruden, when it came down to it he is on MNF for God sake and decided to stay there. Hart did his best and we have plenty of great candidates left.

what do you want him to do?!?! Every other quality candidate still has games left this weekend. My God. Assuming this deal is infact dead, his hands are tied until after Saturday.

If Hart were to hire Franklin yesterday this place would be in an uproar about the decision and everyone would be asking "why not wait till after this weekend and go after a better coach" but when Hart waits (like it seems he is doing now) everyone freaks out and says "why isn't he doing anything. wahh wahh wahhhh.

Lets see hiw this plays out. We are hearing who other teams are talking to. Maybe hart is able to keep everything quiet except gruden, but we are hearing who other programs are targeting/talking to. We see hart at the lady vol bball game. We have heard nothing from him. I just question what is going on.
