A career journalist is far more trustworthy than a freaking sports agent. Hargis hasn't put his career on the line. That's a little dramatic.

To the ogs and true insiders I feel no ill will towards any of you. I feel like you guys legit thought it was happening and were even told so by what was thought to be credible sources. You guys haven't ran and hid and for that I applaud you cause my head would be buried in the nearest pile of sand. Here's to the great university of tennesee and our next coach, whoever it is. The sun will still set today and we will all still love the vols come hell or high-water. I love my vols and always will! Now let's look to the future and hope for the best cause that's all we can do.

I think the idea is to let hart off the hook. No one is buying it though. Gruden was interested for sure

None of it makes sense...it could very well be over...but it could just as easily not. We'll only know for sure when the next head coach is standing behind the podium.

It is just that I can see a scenario when this can still happen... Very slim chance I know and I am certainly not predicting it

I remember a game against ND when at half time most walked away....But guess you can say I am a just a dreamer… If you don’t see any chance that is fine with me but I am not at 0%

If Boro, Lex,SBV, and OldVol comes on and says their sources say no chance.... I will be at 0%

As much as I would love to have Gruden as our coach, 3 or 4 years from now when this search happens again, I hope he is on an NFL sideline so we can avoid this rigomarole. And this will happen again in 3 to 4 years, if we're staring at Fisher, Golden, Fedora, or less.

Most of the OG's have been saying this would go down after the last MNF game was done. If Hart doesn't have his man within the next week, you'll be able to see through all this smoke!
