That's exactly what he's saying, and I'm pretty sure it happened. One of the AD insiders (don't remember if it was skeeter or DP) posted shortly after Dooley was fired that Hart "was calling the boosters bluff." That had to refer to the actual transfer of the money they had previously agreed to put up, IMO.

I think the better thinking would be the boosters would fund the hiring of Gruden. Not sure checks were turned over at any point.

And if skeeter or anybody else is privy to our athletic director and financials and they post on message boards about it, we've got bigger problems than any of us every imagined. So it didn't happen.

Seem to remember you nodding yes when I mentioned it seemed like an "event" happened Thursday. Have you heard anything that might lend some light on that?.

All I have heard is that a big argument between the AD and some money guys. My understanding is it started Wednesday evening then Thursday it blew up. I have nothing direct as of Thursday night. I received a txt that said we have a problem. Next thing I know I heard the TFP was going to break that Gruden had the offer. Then it all went dark. Best I can piece together is a disagreement occurred Wednesday then Thursday evening some of the inside guys said we are going to let the media in on it in an effort to force the issue. I am just not sure it was Thunder as some have speculated. Who knows at this point. I just know enough to say the door is not totally shut.

No....haven't been over there much since the Grudes were ushered out of the FF and told to stand in the corner.

I like skeeter, and find him incredibly accurate on recruiting. My info in this issue has never lined up with his, so Ive not.followed him. I question how insulated the AD has kept them fro this issue.
