Louisville. Period.
Still don't like him, but that place is a tough pull.
Plus, why recruit hard if you know you are leaving soon.
I don't understand this whole they will be interviewing coaches while in NYC thing during CPF induction.
Are we speed dating for the next head football coach?
Doesn't make much sense to me, if you have your guy, fly him into Knoxville and interview him.
It reeks of desperation, and like we don't have a clue who we want? IMO
I honestly don't know what to think.
I don't think I'm being trolled by the 2 boosters I know. They were both so confident about Friday.
hmmm, what do u know suddenly theres no mention of grudens name in govols247 daily report. plus an article on there site has headline "so the gruden drama ends". hmm seems a little funny.
im still all in, silence is our friend![]()
Again, why the top secrecy with Gruden? From the cliff notes, I really don't think it would be Tampa. Is it ESPN? If it is that, what does it matter if he announces now or at the end of MNF? Doesn't he have a long term contract with them?
Wait, whut? :ermm:
That's either interesting, concerning, confusing or infuriating, depending upon one's view of the last several seasons of his tenure I suppose.
Do you guys think that any of the rumored coaches we're looking at, if offered and accept, would be named coach before their bowl game? I mean some of those guys have the potential to be in very good bowl games. There's a chance that we have our man and if he's currently employed, he finishes out his current season before we hear any announcement, which would mean we hear nothing until the first of the year.
Weeks have been spent building anticipation for the signing of Gruden. Now we are told he is not coming because he wanted too much money and the boosters are mad at Hart. What if this build up and take away were designed to gain financial support from booster who are not currently giving for Gruden? Now the news is out that Gruden is not coming because we can't meet his demands. The AD can now go to presently uninvolved boosters and as for money to save the hire, or since the current donations were for Gruden, to hire someone else.
