Never claimed to know anything but I thought Gruden would happen and honestly until I see Hart trot Dumbo or some other dud up to the podium and introduce them as the next head football coach at Tennessee I will continue to hope against all odds that it will miraculously get worked out...

I'm not hitching my wagon to Brent Hubbs. But, I'm not going to dismiss everything he says as B-S either.

I don't that there was any question by the time he reported it.... I imagine he was like a lot of people that know a month before that, but waited to report it....

Again, he didn't have to acquire any knowledge for that report. He just stated what everybody knew was a foregone conclusion.

You keep bringing this up like it was some crazy scoop that Hubbs had. There was no secret that the AD was keeping.

I have noticed that the "inside info" has ceased lately.

Either, there is none, or the crack in the damn has been patched.

I find it curious for SO MUCH info to be flowing over the past few weeks to all of a sudden come to an absolute halt.

Interesting.

No need to start this thread just yet. Last time I checked we haven't hired anyone yet. Until someone not named Gruden is standing at the podium, there is still a chance that he is our coach, and like it or not, the "Grumors" will not end until such event happens as well.

Lot of things don't add up and you'd think someone other than the Chattanooga reporter would at least question how stupid that all went done last week. Maybe the deal crashed, maybe Grud got $10M to coach the Chargers, but there's a lot more to this story than meets the eye. I hope it all ends well for UT.

We need to learn what really happened.

We were very close to getting Gruden.

The hangup was over salaries for assistant coaches.

The money was there.

Dave Hart must have dropped the ball.
