I like his informaton... especially because he is saying what i want to hear.....but if I believe something, but am not willing to defend what I believe....then I have to come to the honest conclusion that I do not beliecve afterall

I hope he is correct....I do not know, it is a rumor board...so it is added to my thoughts

Do I have any evidence either way...yes, I have as much as he is giving me.

If you want me to believe you on your word...then you need to give me something to believe.

On this board I have seen dates announced, times for press conferences, done deals and No deals...

Frankly.... I will know we have a coach and be encouraged about it when we do..

I posed this question in one of the Gruden threads (I, like most of you, have been here since Gruden I). I would really like to know if anyone has any estimates in regard to the following:

Is there any way someone might be able to calculate lost revenue from home games this past season based solely on empty seats?

Too many smokescreens for me not to believe this is a done deal. This just doesn't pass the sniff test...

Unless there are 3 Dave Hart's, there is no way everyone has spotted him at all these locations. And, no one real has spotted him, just "sources".

I am all Gruden. Not only because I want him here, but because unless he tells me personally to my face, making a promise not to lie or else he loses his wife and kids, I believe its still him.

Just don't believe all these media outlets are in the real know.

It had been mentioned at one point that the Troy game alone lost around 2 million in potential revenue.

Those asking about Jay... Didn't Boro say Jay had something going on in his personal life he was taking care of, hence why he hasn't posted in awhile.

Most empty seats were for tickets already sold. The ones losing the money for that are the scalpers.

However, there is alot of money to be lost on concession and merchandise sales.

During the 90s, the Vols merchandise was one of the top sellers for college gear in the nation.

This hire not only impacts the Athletic Department and University, it impacts the Knoxville economy as well.

Dave Hart needs to make a HUGE hire.
