You are what’s amazing. You think coming in here and acting like an insider doesn’t have any consequences? As if everyone is gonna just let it go. That’s why you keep your ****ing mouth **** if you don’t know anything. Like you should do.

Who are you? Outside of proof of being a crybaby I don’t know what else to think of your posts.

Hate to say it but after 40 years as a fan if it is Schiano I am happy to turn in my VFL card, don't care what happens later, I'm just done. Why should I care about a University that hasn't give a damn for it's fans in the last decade or more. It's one thing to miss on a coach it's just not acceptable to not try.

Yeah I’m right there with ya. If this what we get for 45 years of support, I’m completely done. Won’t give a s::t anymore

Someone talk me off the ledge...i was going to pursue my Graduate degree at UT when I retired from the military. This will definitely change those plans. Maybe UNC or Wake now.

just substitute Schiano for Jones and read at our own peril :

In August 2013, Butch Jones (1) sat in a conference room in the Tennessee football facility and told stories. The room was his makeshift office, the place where he was spending much of his time while trying to get the program he’d just taken over off the ground. Tennessee football had been a failing product for years, and Butch was hired to change that.

He seemed to have the intangibles for the job, the requisite energy and the right personality to sell his Volunteers vision to recruits and beaten-down fans. And he had slogans. “Brick by Brick” (2) was the slogan of choice at that time."

I admit, there have been a couple of times during this whole process when I've wobbled on the axle, so to speak. A rumor about a different coach would come up, and I'd stumble on it, still hoping for Gruden. But this is so outrageous, that I'm not tripping or stumbling. This is not happening. If it does, well, fine. UT just made a bunch of choices very easy for me. But this is so outlandish, that I cannot even entertain it to be true enough to stumble over it.

Currie is going to be the hero at the last minute, unlike his predecessor, who was the zero, at the last minute.

Why does he feel the need to be a hero though. And in this fashion? That's somewhat sadistic, and all-world egotistical to pull that on this fan base. And crazy.

Seriously, you can't really still be thinking it's still Gruden.

Please, be logical. It's over. Tennessee football is over forever.

No exaggeration. It's done.

I can’t figure any of this out for the life of me. How could we go from Gruden to Schiano?

There’s no way that there was this much smoke with no fire regarding Gruden.

All this money raised to end up with Schiano? No way. Something is terribly off here.

I see what they did there.....put out this to enrage fans and take focus away from Gruden being snuck into Knoxville. Otherwise he would have been seen.
