Someone PLEASE explain this where it works out for the Grude. If Gruden WAS a done deal ( as predicted) and all this BS is BS (as predicted) , it would be reasonable to think Gruden would have informed his current employer. That being said, current employer would be foolish to report Schiano story. I know ESPN is awful, but not THAT incompetent.

The AD truly doe not get to pick the coach...

His boss (Chancellor) may weigh heavily, OR boosters may weigh heavily. And sometimes maybe both.

Fortunately for us this time the Correct Boosters are picking our next coach.
We have no control of when they announce it, but we have already been told that it is Gruden.

if the narrative that has been assembled in these threads is true, the Gruden hire has been done by the boosters, and handed to (hart in 2012) and currie in 2017. hart screwed it up, and we got jones. currie will go along with it, as long as it looks like his hire. he doesn't look in charge or capable even, of doing his job, if he just signed off on the deal. plus, he's giving up a lot of control over the football program if it's gruden. he either looks like a chump yes man, or he looks like THE man. he will go along, as long as he looks like the hero.
