Never experienced anything like today. Wow. Just wow. What have we become? Vicious fans we are. Social media has changed us as a society and not sure I like it.

Still sitting back waiting for something official rather than breaking. Appreciate you knuck, exile, AV, beav, sfd, Boro, GV, hawk, etc, etc, etc. Remain on the train but want to say however this goes down, have had a better time here than with real football season this year.

For the record, this is where I am.

if the narrative that has been assembled in these threads is true, the Gruden hire has been done by the boosters, and handed to (hart in 2012) and currie in 2017. hart screwed it up, and we got jones. currie will go along with it, as long as it looks like his hire. he doesn't look in charge or capable even, of doing his job, if he just signed off on the deal. plus, he's giving up a lot of control over the football program if it's gruden. he either looks like a chump yes man, or he looks like THE man. he will go along, as long as he looks like the hero.

In essence, he wants to appear, not only competent, but also an "alpha". It's made us look incredibly inept though in this process. I've got friends all over the world asking me who's running the kindergarten class.

Thank you. I am not sure where this came from. Either something got out of hand. I just don't know right now. I am still Gruden. And the crow, will be consumed like an anemia.

Im with ya Knuck. Please God let it be Grude. If not, the rides been fun. If it's Schiano, then I'm going to have to turn in my Vol card.

One thing's for certain, whoever the next coach is (barring it's not Schiano) will be welcomed with open arms. I've never seen so much well deserved backlash.

Currie better be fired tomorrow or step down.

He has botched this coaching search. His time at UT should be finished.

For him to be fired, the story has to be true. I don't believe it's true, nor do I have an opinion of where it came from. That person should get their backside kicked!

I really hope some of the hateful rhetoric said in this forum does not get out. There are some shameful things thrown around at the drop of a dime when something is said that people don’t agree with. Stop with the hateful speak and wait for the AD to say something before you blow things out of proportion.

I don’t want to blow anything out of proportion, but Tennessee football is a way of life. It fills a 100,000 seat stadium every weekend... not many people can see that. It’s about more than whether we like the coach or not... this is bad and it looks like a way of life is changing. Wouldn’t be surprised if these big renovations cut down on stadium capacity again. I just know that I’m really frustrated, this is a disaster our hire and it’s going to destroy a way of life in East Tennessee... and for me 2000 miles away. No violence please, but I’m not afraid to say that Deadspin got it right when they said “[Tennessee] hauls Greg Schiano out of the dumpster.” This is sorry and I won’t be watching anymore... any allegiance to this team is gone the second Schiano is inked.

I'm in the camp that believes the Currie..."believe nothing until you hear it from me".

That said...IF Schiano is coach, I would need a hiatus until his departure. Thinking Purdue or Maryland. Each have young coaches and can be fun to watch when healthy. Both are within a 6 hour drive from me amd I won't be bandwagon. Then once GS leaves, I could make a seamless return.

If True, #VEXIT!
