A very powerful person in Tennessee sent out a tweet Sunday night supporting Vol fans. Within hours this person got a call from Jimmy Haslam and was TOLD not asked to delete tweet. Can't tell the whole conversation but he was politely told to go to hell. I can say with 100 % confidence by what Haslam said during phone call , he was behind the hire.

I don't see your intent. Are you saying its demoralizing that THEY call us a laughingstock, or its demoralizing that we are UNFAIRLY being called a laughingstock?

He's at the very least an A-, I posted earlier his last 10 years compared to UT's coaches and Fulmers.

When compared to Fulmers, if I didn't put who was which at the beginning you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two

The dude is a good coach and compared to what we've had and what we almost had, I'll take him every day of the week

8M might be a bit much, but no one seemed to have a problem saying that Gruden should be getting 10M when he hasn't coached in almost 15 years and is an unproven commodity in the college football world

ok, I'll personally say thanks for bringing what you've brought in then past but this latest tidbit, oh well....I'm sure I'm not the only that feels something like that just beg questions and if there are not to be none why the hell post it !

Just realized,if Gundy is in play, the "powers that be" have f'ed up hair style fetishes... Butch's Gomer cut and Gundy's Billy Ray mullet...but hey, if Gundy is ready and willing, he has my support...
