Kind of what I'm thinking, I truly believe Gundy's whole thing is leveraging for more money where he's at now. With JG I believe if he would say something either way would put a lot of this at rest. JMO

I saw someone post earlier in the day that JG was just waiting to see what happened with this sh*t storm but I mean really? Is that really why he hasn't said anything at all? Looks to me like if he was burned by the "powers" that be everyone keeps referring to that he would just come out and say NO or he's not interested..

Your reason for believing that Gruden signed something, is because you haven't seen that he hasn't signed something? And people who obviously have 0 ties to the University of Tennessee have told you so, so it must be?

Imagine if you will that the boosters that have been battling Jimmy Haslam went public the happenings over the recent days - the apparent back stab by Jimmy Haslam with the attempted Schiano hire???

Imagine how awful our University and Athletic Department would look to the country and the NCAA?

Imagine the fire storm of unwanted media attention. What parent would send their child here to play any freaking sport due to the rogue mismanagement of the Ath Dept.

Imagine the negative impact on the boosters' own businesses.....

And to get to the heart of the matter, Jimmy fn Haslam knows that the other big money boosters wouldn't dare go to the media. He knows they won't fight him tooth and nail which is why he (Jimmy Haslam) tried the damn dirty sanchez on the other boosters and the fan base but he got caught.

Even still he knows we(they - the other boosters won't get the golden goose). See Haslam wins if we dont get Gruden - if we got Gruden the coffers of the AD and the University would be full which would lessen his control over the university.

Screw Jimmy Haslam and John Currie!

So the guy that brought "Tampa Bays coach" but thought it was Gruden instead of Schiano is trying to ridicule somebody? C'mon man.

His big brother is a senior at MTSU, chose not to go to UT, he is choosing the same route right now. Can't say that i blame them. My oldest is a journalism major and does quite a bit for MTSU. Classy folks there, I enjoy going to Floyd stadium.
