Sorry, but I don't understand how it isn't too late. We're about to hire Gundy, and most of the fan base is about to completely change their tune. And even if it falls through, they will almost certainly try to cram Tee in there which will calm down people (when it should honestly should anger them). And even if that fails, I have little doubt they'll try to force a confirmed disaster like Dorean in before anybody can say no. Point being, there's no way there's time to make any meaningful move before hiring a coach. If there was, it probably would have been done already.

Yes, they'll have plenty of time to make something up. It'll go a little something like this:

Boosters got Gruden to agree to a deal, Currie said nah. Currie then went "rogue" under the order of Haslam and tried to hire Schiano.

Basically they'll say that the boosters tried to conduct the coaching search without the AD being involved one bit, and some idiots will believe it.

But what people are so tore up about is Gruden didn’t just agree to a deal *he signed it. That’s why everyone is up tight. It’s a lot bigger mess than people realize

You'd think with such a sure thing that he would've already been signed or at least rumored to be in talks with Nebraska

FSU or A&M, UT or OSU are still in play for Frost. I think he's wise waiting for all the dominoes to fall.

No way he's getting removed. The only chance I see for Gruden is if:

a) Gundy turns us down
b) Gruden PUBLICLY states that he wants this job

I don't think the first one is happening and there's no chance the second happens.

Everything that we were led to believe in these threads, could be true and still not be complete. Why? Because Haslam did not get to where he is by giving up easily. He played his pocket Kings. So we are waiting on the flop. I am a little disappointed that the "don't lose" crowd was not prepared for this move.

If we the fans give up and argue about coaches or settle, instead of putting our disgust to work against the administration, then the administration gains an advantage. I think that is what Exile is trying to tell us.

Where is any proof Gruden signed any deal? All you have is the so called "insiders" saying this, and they are just as wrong now as they were in 2012.

Do you know if the results are real time? I ask because when real estate changes hands it takes some time to update the tax records. If it's the same, it's entirely possible the individual listed is who UT bought it from, not who the record shows it belongs to. Just a thought..

Reserved usually means it is for a airplane in production or for a future purchase. Ut has several reserved tail numbers. The listing is fairly up to date, usually updated within a week of the purchase or a airplane changing hands.

He's had a burr in his a$$ about UT for a long time. Suspect he got bullied there as a student and holds it against the University. He did all he could to drag Fulmer's name in the mud. It's why I call him "Slimebaum".

I brought info to this thread because, long story short, I know people who handle MOU's and other legal documents for the university in all sorts of affairs. I was told that an ex TB coach had signed an MOU blah blah blah. Little did I realize at the time, but family friends trolled the chit out of me.

Until I see something signed by Gruden, I refuse to believe it, and I will continue to feel stupid for getting my hopes up.
