He's truly been high on my list all along, and I'm stunned it took this long to talk to him.

He literally has the most complete resume of anyone we've talked to. SEC experience, HC experience, has beaten Bama, had beaten Florida, Conference Championships, Natty....literally everything you could want. Make him address his shortcomings, and he's a guy that would get you back on track ASAP. Barring landing the White Whale, which is obviously my first choice, I'd be thrilled with Miles and some UT blood on the staff.

THIS. Given the correct environment and a little structuring Les could be VERY successful at Tennessee. That being said - Gruden is my top choice as well.

We need to put pressure on Fulmer like we did Currie and the Haslams. A mediocre hire like Les Miles is UNACCEPTABLE.

It doesn't matter who the person making the decision is. We saw Peyton trying to force Schiano down our throats. Just because Fulmer is who he is doesn't mean we should trust him.

We need Fulmer to hire Gruden. PERIOD. Make Gruden turn us down publicly.

Suave, I think he was be sarcastic because someone asked him how he knew something ... in the tone of "and you know that how ?" and we had a big discussions about whether that should have even gotten asked or not ... anyway, that's what knuck finally came back with and I'm pretty sure it was just to be sarcastic and not have to give a long drawn out 'do your research about me if you don't want want to believe me fine' type answer

Then do like a majority of us, come here for the enjoyment and exchange of valuable information. Regardless of what you believe of Beaver, his mission was to rally the troops. Not that we needed much help, but he accomplished what he was sent here to do. And don't mistake the fact that he was "sent" here.

I don't think any of the boosters are in that role right now. They didn't go through all of this just to hand veto power to another kingmaker. I think they want the professionals in charge to run with this.
