That 'pitch in' bit especially makes sense with possible coordinators like Tee, Dale Jones, etc., folks Phil knows better than the future head coach does.

Speaking of Dale Jones, this is one of the reasons that I believe there was definitely something going on, and probably still is involving Gruden. The hints he was throwing out, and his girlfriend tweeting that she was thinking about/getting excited about moving back to Knoxville.

Why else would that have been happening?

Players being paid were not the main point, the point was that Haslam would likely start spreading rumors that players were being paid ... just because he is pissed off and wants to make things difficult I suppose for CPF and anyone else who was involved in his demise. We expected backlash from Haslam and who knows what else he might try ... scorched earth strategy or whatever, I put nothing past the slimebag.

Here's where I stand on this issue. If Jimmy starts a smear campaign alleging player payments, he's opened a can of worms and all is fair in love and war. It's been rumored that Bill wants a Tennessee Senate. Where are the votes coming from? We have seen first hand what the wrath of UT fans can accomplish. Just sayin' :rock::rock::rock:

Who has a better record? Among those who have played more than 3 games. Not making an argument for Miles ... just wanting a fair comparison.

NOTE: LA is loaded .... so you would expect him to be better than some. I worry that he is slow to adapt to changes in the game and it tends to pass him by.
