If Strong is named the coach I will support him cause Im a UT fan thru and thru. I will buy my season tickets again too, but dang it will take me a while to get over the letdown.

I don't care what you've "been through" as a fan, you can't call yourself a true fan if you even consider leaving the team. Go root for Texas A&M or whoever you said you'd switch to. Just know you won't be welcome back when we return to winning.

I'm also not happy about that prospect. What keeps me sane is knowing how much $$$ Arky was likely offering (I'm gonna venture a guess and say it was about twice what his résumé would dictate) and that it would be close to home. He knew we were the better program, but money and family ties would make me think twice too.

People that enjoy other people's misery or predicted misery in this case or the lowest of the low. Its a sickness. I have never gone in a Stoops, Fulmer, Gundy, Strong, Fisher, or Davis forum and told them how stupid they are for wanting who they want. Some people are not happy with themselves and like to seem bigger than they actually are.

This thread is just one glimpse of what is to come if Hart doesn't make a great hire.

And BTW, if the hiring wasn't Gruden, but was a great coach, you wouldn't be seeing the panic. And I'm not talking Cowher/Saban/Belichick - even Gundy would probably be okay with more than half of the Grudenites.

You believe he isnt coming...great! What else can you bring that has any merit of a conversation? Nothing that I have seen.

My ignore list has helped a ton, but they keep coming.

I wonder if we could work out a trade with Vandy if Strong is hired... I am not a Franklin fan at all, but I would have rather had him than Strong if Strong is hired for some reason...

FWIW- Tony Barnhart said UT waiting until tomorrow morning to announce new coach due to respect for Coach Fulmer tonight not overshadowing his award. Sorry, don't have a link just heard him on the radio.
