Chris Lowe came out and said Strong is front-runner...other media outlets said same. Also report that Gundy is #1 choice but if he says no then we offer Strong. However, Gruden is still available and we still don't have a HC. :good!:

Good question. I think her point was that it will not be UT and when he does return, it will be in the NFL.

I could post more but she also went on to say that the big boosters love Charlie Strong as well as Hart. His interview was stellar.

How would she know what Tn booster are saying? They are not telling anybody anything except misinformation remember.

Some people think Gruden's wife if a positive I dont necessarily think so. Id imagine Gruden doesnt want his wife and kids & her family to hear any crap if he were to come and struggle whatsoever.

Really? He coached my Raiders and dealt with Al Davis and the Black Hole. It doesn't get any worse than an angry Raider Nation. I just don't see Vols fans being abusive to that extreme.

Who exactly was it who called you? What position are they in to have accurate knowledge of the situation? A member of Louisville's AD? Media member? How can you be so sure of this information? What exactly do you mean by "huge counter offer"? How huge is huge? Do you have specific numbers? If not, why not? It seems someone who is as close to this situation as your caller is would have accurate info as to the exact amount being talked about. If you are not willing to tell us who your caller is, then how can you expect us to place any faith in your caller's word?

I just can't buy, that after Hart said that about getting UT back to where we belong winning championships and all that, that he hires Charlie Strong. I mean nothing personal but come on. The scary part to me is that that coaching list the media put out was actually the list Hart used to make his decision. If that's true he's incompetent.

All Gruden until someone else is introduced...may be blind faith but i still believe.

Id rather have the ability to believe in something while I still had the choice than to settle for anything less then what my heart says.

Amazing how many people take what they are fed as truth just because a majority presents it as such. Then there are those who lack the fortitude to stand on their own regardless of outcome.
