I have enjoyed this thread for a month or more. I haven't been confrontational tonight even when I was called a sh..head. I enjoy most of the posters in this thread. If you wish me to be gone then you control that.

Don't get me wrong. We don't agree a lot, but I enjoy you being here.

Having said that, this is still the Gruden thread. If you want to be darn glad about Strong, do it quietly. We've had enough gloating for one day.

I am not saying that is what you are doing, just don't start.

That's relative. I know as much as I knew about brian kelly when I wanted him so badly when we hired LaneK. I know more about him than i did muschamp when i desperately wanted him when we hired DD. I only hope i have the same judgement on this hire as i did with those.

Good question. I think her point was that it will not be UT and when he does return, it will be in the NFL.

I could post more but she also went on to say that the big boosters love Charlie Strong as well as Hart. His interview was stellar.

I agree about get together .. If this Strong offer real and they roll out this to fan base with our schedule and team And final projected record I will be sad because I do not believe we play on top tier anymore for years . The more I research Strong....the more I like him. Sure...I would have loved to have Gruden...held out hope till the wheels fell off. This guy can coach (flat out)....I'm on the Strong Train and will give all my support to him if named HC at UT

I just got a message from a girl I grew up with and am close to. She is married to an x-pro that is a pro coach now. I trust her more than anyone else I have spoken to. I was wrong as my sources obviously were. I am no longer on the train. It will be Strong. Her last post...
I adore Jon but no way Cindy was uprooting his oldest kid's senior yr in HS, etc.... Not even to go back "home" for her! Woulda been awesome though.... He is happy playing the $$$ game ...best part is only one big boy from UT even called last week and couldn't even get close to what he makes a yr in contract/endorsements/etc... Jay says he thinks only job he'd be REALLY interested in is Philly...looks like that is gonna be open real soon...hmmm..... IMO if JG is gonna run at coaching again, he'll go at this one..if he's really done, we'll know. Anyway, just my two cents.... And dang it, UT needs to hurry up!!!! Ya'll kids done waited long enough!!!!

Plenty of buttholes on tonight.

Does anyone think that Hart could be releasing the Strong info to pressure Gruden? Maybe he hadn't made a decision, and this is a "Look, I'm not going to wait around on you, make a decision, or else I'm hiring this guy?"
