I'm hding out hope until someone else is announced...
http://www.dawgtalkers.net/uploads/2009 NFL Anti-Tampering Policy.pdf
NFL Anti-Tampering Policy:
Under Contract. During a clubs playing season, including postseason if
applicable (excluding Pro Bowl), the following actions are prohibited
concerning a head coach who is under contract, unless the involved head
coach has been dismissed by his club: (1) No head coach may discuss or
accept employment for the current or a future season with another club in the
League; (2) no club may request permission to discuss employment with a
head coach for the current or a future season; and....
Now Gruden may not technically count as a head-coach since he's not currently employed as a coach, but even still, this walks a fine, fine line from violating the anti-tampering policy. I see no validity in these NFL rumors until their season officially ends. It's just always worked that way.
wow..look at charlie strongs recruiting at louisville. not good he has never had more than three 4 stars in a year. Why are vol fans excited about this guy. Florida ties, nope, i think in 2011 he had 4 kids from fla. wtf. this guy is friggin tool playin tha race card
If you read further you will see that the rules apply to terminated coaches as well. And you cannot talk to other coaches for prospective jobs during the season - huge no - no.
I have been saying this for days and posted the rules and provided a link. Some read - most ignored, like paladin.

So per AP, Bielema's contract is 6yrs, $3.2m per. Would be 3rd in Big Ten behind Meyer/Ferentz, 4th in SEC.
Bielema is far more experienced and he's only getting 3.2
Someone just mentioned this, but it felt like the Alamo in here earlier. Such an onslaught of negativity. The OGs pushing back further and further into the mission, slowly picking off the attackers.
Here's hoping things end up better here than at the actual Alamo.
Raiders GM is a VFL. This looks like more smoke possibly due to the media focus on our search as the last open job in the SEC. They're playing off Gruden's return to the Black Hole for MNF earlier this season.
Not to mention NFL tampering due to talking to current assistants as the future Vols HC if he tries to go back pro. Oh, don't forget the 'exclusive' ESPN contract that is supposed to keep him out of the NFL until 2016 due to the access he's given to teams for MNF.
