I've been saying at this late hour the boosters are running the real search, and Dave Hart is simply a puppet. If Hart was really doing the search that leaves two possibilities.

1. The boosters are idiots and delegating the authority like such to a guy here for 13 months.
2. The boosters big search broke down and they need the backup plan. That would make Hart plan B.

If Hart bucks the big money he'd be fired lickety split. :whistling:

Food for thought....

So if the entire UT higher ups are in NYC, with boosters, former players, and basically anyone important to the program and Gruden is up there as well. How easy would it be for them to sign the deal and then they all fly back to Knoxville together and have PC tomorrow morning with CJG walking out to be introduced.

We all know the Knox press isn't going to be at the airport waiting to see who gets off all the planes. How floored would the Knox press be!!! It would be epic.... Hart at the mic and when he says I would like to introduce you to the next HC for the UT, in walks Gruden with a chit eating grin on his face!!

Dumb arse Harts presser does not = Strong.
I have said this a couple of times, I think Hart was offered the AD job at Bama when Moore retires and he wants to finish off Tn program.Well he is off to a great start if he has hired Dooley 2.0 and if the BOT approves this hire then they need to be fired.
Hart just needs to GTHO of Knoxville

I can't be sure. I don't mean to be cryptic. There are several posters who frequent different boards and post on all of them under the same name. With that in mind I'm sure those that have been around here a while can figure out where to look. Same site as babyvol, free board.

I know I'm probaly just grasping for straws, but there's something off about the Gruden saga. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the last search Gruden came out and stated he was not interested in coaching at UT. This time he could have done the same but he side stepped the question on Mike&Mike. He could have ended it right there. It's not like UT is gonna help him get a raise because of all the interest he gets from the NFL is still there. So why not end it??? Because he's seriously interested in UT. Anyways if the Gruden deal is done, that would make sense why things are taking longer than expected. I'm sure Gruden wants to finish out the MNF schedule and not burn any ESPN bridges. Because he would likely go back after he retires from coaching. I hope I'm right on this!

Not butthurt at all. I jus think it's ridiculous that you come in here screaming how Gruden isn't coming. All you're doing is crying for attention. While I don't believe that Gruden is 100%, I do believe that there's still a possibility, as do many of the posters in this thread. You come in here with no sort of information definitively showing that Gruden is not coming and expect everyone the just be like "ok guys, guess that's it, GoBraves said he isn't coming, so we can pack it up now."

Seriously GTFO of here with that crap.

I've been on this site for 5 years and I've never used it, but you're dangerously close to becoming the first person to occupy my ignore list. all you're trying to do is instigate stupidity. Unless you have something worthwhile to contribute to the conversation, then go the hell away.
