I was/am excited about strong. I posted around 5 last night that I was told by a Louisville booster they were going to try to make offer to keep him. So I never said it was completely done. I know nothing different from then.

Maybe there is more to the posting/interviewing requirements than we think, too. Or at least some ambiguity.

If there is, and UT is about to blow the salary structure of college football out of the water, you have to believe they are going to do their best to dot every i and cross every t.

Interesting that we have the press reporting at least three interviews, with the leading candidate being a minority. The job has also been open for around 20 days.

IMO both Gundy and Strong are playing everyone for a raise whether or not we have offered them or not.

Here is how it went:

Phone call to Gundy and Strong from Zook:
