I hate the whole "What color was his tie? OMG Vols reference" thing that normally spews out...but yeah, something was definitely lacking in his emotion tonight.

Could be a cold, lack of sleep, or other things. Let's hope for "other things"

I think coaches hold grudges. My kid attended Fulmers last camp. Stan Drayton was leading a drill. He gathered all the kids together and had them bouncing around and ended it with "Gators suck on three". I know, he went back but he had a grudge at that time. I could see Strong miffed over not given a chance.

If we get a good coach, we will get the recruits. DD had some 4 stars bail on him right before signing day. I remember when Fulmer was at his recruiting peak and guys from other teams would defect at the last minute for the VOLS. I miss those days.

I'm not really following the logic that UF chose Urban Meyer over Strong because of race. Where did that come from? Stong said that? If so , I see that as a red flag. ( I need to be careful calling out flags by color)

Ahh...so how many more MNF's are left for the year? Maybe Gruden left his official announcement in a Cracker Jack box and all you need is a decoder ring and to find the box?

Yeah, I remember Croom using that logic with Miss St and how did that work out for them.

Just listened to it...He said Jon Gruden first.
Enjoyed it, glad you were with us..with Jon Gruden and our great monday night crew Mike Turico etc Patriots and Texans next Monday night.

I think it is impossible to answer any of those honestly. So many recruits were scared off by our coaching situation that we missed OVs with a lot.

It will be difficult for any coach (yes, even Gruden) to turn some of the kids, but I think that there are some that are genuinely interested in UT but are just waiting it out.

Having said that, I think that a good recruiter should have us in the top 10 with the names that are still out there and have shown some interest.
