You will not get Eddie Lacy type players. You can get guys admitted! CP can't stay after one year. Lookup Lanier as well. You need majors that have weightlifting credits ect like we used to have. Hard to keep some really good players eligible. Look up some of the Bama majors and see we don't have those. Also, you get a c-, it gives you a 1.75, at bama a 2.0. It is not a level playing field. Fulmer even implied about it yesterday when he said UT had issues and he did not become dumb over the last two year. Hart even mentioned in his press conference. Jones has to deal with it if it doesn't change. Some players do just come to play football and that is big boy football.

The PR of this entire search is just unbelievable. Complete disaster to let the Grumors get so strong. Just sad, really. Sad state of affairs.

I'm not flaming here, but I don't know why you say this isn't Hart's fault. Can you please explain? I'm happy to believe you, but this all seems to be Hart to me. Hart runs the AD, so I'm confused.

Well it's for sure UT isn't committed to winning games or championships anymore. How the BOT and boosters approved this hire is beyond me. I'm not renewing my tickets any longer.
Butch Jones does not have a chance and nobody can tell me that in the last 24 hours that he hasn't been doing research trying to see what's being said.
Neyland will be pathetic next year and so will the football team.
Hart and Cheek should of been fired with Dooley

I'm not knocking anyone in particular but rather the cult-like following this created. It was almost like a band and they had roadies, groupies, etc.
