I am hearing that big $$$$ donors were not behind this hire, hence the salary.....

Hopefully big $$$ donors will withhold any further capital contributions to UT and the Athletic Department. If they do, it will cripple the Athletic Department which is already in dire straits.

Patrick, I have been trying to recall who supported Hart to begin with. Do you remember?

I hope they do more than withhold funds. I hope they terminate him and quickly.

I am so mad right now, this is the first time ive been able to get on this site and Ill tell you it seems like every time the administration is in a good posistion to Make a great hire they seem to always foul it up, and the best i can say is Dave Hart better have his bags packed and be ready to run back to alabama after this hire. You put a big sign over your head saying we do not want to win championships we just want to win about 8, or 9 games a year and i understand that there is a lot of people that will take that i was looking beyond that seems like they always find a way to screw it up.

The way I took it was that he wanted some kind of proof that there is a source and you guys didn't make all this up. Although, I don't know how you could do that without giving names and I certainly understand why you cant do that. My point is that your source is obviously unreliable.

Just because this guys name is not Gruden doesn't mean he's a failure. I wanted JG like everyone else in here but damn give the guy a chance. He's won his conf 4 out of 6 years (& I don't care what conf it is) as a HC. I'll support any coach that will give their all for Tennessee until he gives me a reason not to & the rest of Volnation should do the same.
