Good lawd, I went to govols247 last night since server was down. That place SUCKS. You can't say anything negative whatsoever without getting flamed (or a PM from ryan callahan). And, I'm not talking about trolling...I'm talking about saying anything that isn't ignorantly sunshine-laden. They all suck up to each other and pump sunshine to the point of absurdity. I'm all for getting behind butch, but that place is a fantasy land for nincompoops.

Jones was going to make $1.6 mil at UC next year. Did we really have to almost double his salary? Great job Hart!

And for people to say jon gruden wasnt a legitament coaching choice your crazy. There was at one time and probably not long before the hire but as it stands butch is our coach and that is the end of it. I kept the faith but im still a vol always and forever. Ill put it this way i might go through a divorce hell maybe 2 but i will never go through a divorce with my vols. I hope those that have hope for the program doesnt forget that we are tennessee and brighter days are ahead for us and this planet i have no doubt.

Does anyone know the mood of the players with this hire? Do they seemed pumped? The players are what really makes good things happen. If they are "coached up", and buy into what the coach is selling, they will respond on the field.

I would love for Coach Jones to come out with, I'd like to thank Dave Hart for the massive smokescreen involved in concealing my hire to UT.

This was the first choice for us both but we needed to keep it under wraps for reasons I cannot yet reveal...

I will support anyone that beats Alabama and Florida in the same season. Until then it is "show me what you can do."

I will not support mediocrity and lowering of standards.
