Just got a chance to watch the presser and I have to say what I see is a fired up coach who is beside himself that he is the head coach of the vols....we will know next nov but CBJ has my support and if he can coach as well as his presser went we have a winner on our hand.....glad the search is over and glad to have him as our coach wining will cure all and I hope he gets us moving in the right direction ......his first stop should be. Ridge land high watching Von bell tonight

I understand he has signed a MOU... I heard a reporter say tonight on WATE-TV6 in Knoxville that it was legally binding... interesting question?

Evening Coasty, been a long day my friend...I was on earlier this morning and the wolves were in attack mode. I thought Boro was attacked and was classless, people wanting names and such. I don't see how knowing names changes the outcome, just a terrible chain of events that took place, it happens from time to time but rest assured Karma is a b!tch

I'm beside myself too that he's the coach of the university of Tennessee. He just hit the lottery win or lose.

I asked that several times today and no one seems to know. I'm not sure the boosters will go that far to block the hiring after the press conference and all has happened. However, if they did that would be very interesting. bcarter said he saw Haslam praising Coach Jones in person.

I know we all want CBJ to succeed and I'm ready to be pumped about Vol football again. Its nothing against him because I'm very glad he was willing to take on this challenge. Im sure 3 mil had something to do with it, but he has a great looking family and for their sake and our sake we need this to work. My biggest thing is the irresponsibility by our AD, BOD, and university admin. over the last 5+ years.

I feel pretty bad also. Haven't cracked a smile all day long! I feel worse today then I did after they canned Bruce.

I mean we had JG for goodness sake... He was right there! Hell I'm miserable!

Allow me to summarize " DONE DEAL , 100% , dont believe GTFO , Mediocrity ,SOON .

The best part is Boosters gonna show hart who is BOSS . OHHHHH NOes hart went rogue, he went around the mighty boosters . LOL , and SMOKE SCREEN .

I missed most of the carnage because of work schedule... but That is truly classless.

I don't mind that we didn't land Gruden as much as i mind we are told this is the BEST we can do...

PITYFUL....imho

I feel you man, but we gotta be as positive as we can and hope for a great coaching staff. It's not Butch Jones fault that our AD sucks.

Mmmm crow tastes ok. Not my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice, but Jones is a proven winner.
