Not going to lie Patrick, I am disappointed but I can blame Jones for taking the job. He improved his standard of living and moved his family to a better place to raise his 3 sons.

I think I speak for a lot of fans when I say I am disappointed in Cheek and Hart or as I have been calling them today Chart. How about you sir?

Maybe not ever. I understand the old support the team, the coach, etc. And I understand that Jones took a job that was offered but it never should have happened. The only way to speak out about it is to put your proverbial money where your mouth is.

I hold nothing against Butch Jones.... seems like a good guy and I would have taken the job were I him as well.

I will as always support my team, the players and the new coach, and will of course hope this new hire works out for us all. I will not support any AD who thinks this was a move up to improve our program. It may work out, but we are by dam Tennessee, and we deserve the best.

This proud program once stood out in the NCAA as one of the elite and première of the county, today we are a head scratcher, and a curiosity. We are brought to this lowly state not by a fan base, or players or even a coach. We come to this lonely spot by an incompetent former Ad and now a former Bama, and former Gator troll...who has created an atmosphere where less than perfection is not only accepted but tolerated and now expected by our fan base.The same fan base who only a few short years ago dared to dream we could be the BEST in the nation...because we were. Today we simply fall in line as understudies of the Bama's, Ga's, and LSU's of the world ask ourselves why we every believed to start with.

How are the might fallen from their former state.... I lay it all at the feet of the Ad and Chancellor now presiding on the once “mighty hill”

My stand as a Grudenite was based on a simple belief, one that says we COULD, SHOULD and WOULD be Great again. Was I believeing something that did not happen, Yes I was, and today I wear my banner not in shame, but in pride..... of not a coach who turned us down, but of a dream of excellence that in my heart lives on till I breathe my last breath.

Just got a chance to watch the presser and I have to say what I see is a fired up coach who is beside himself that he is the head coach of the vols....we will know next nov but CBJ has my support and if he can coach as well as his presser went we have a winner on our hand.....glad the search is over and glad to have him as our coach wining will cure all and I hope he gets us moving in the right direction ......his first stop should be. Ridge land high watching Von bell tonight

Yep that didn't work out to well for us....but then again I have looked at all the angles and I have chosen to give him a shot, Dooley deserved to be fired and we wanted him gone mission accomplished CBJ not my first choice but he is the coach so it is what it is ...BTW loves that line about being his wife's 3rd choice funny as he!!
