I love what Saint Peters is doing; however they were 16-11 before their tournament…….it’s not like their “good”……got hot, got a disinterested KY and looked up to find a mid major ( all be it a really good one).

Again don’t get me wrong their doing awesome and March is seriously madness.

End of the day....we're going home and they're going to Philly for the Sweet 16

So are the 67 other teams that lose on an annual basis. We’ve only made one Elite 8 in our history. I would love to have had their tournament success. I don’t think people realize how truly hard it is to make deep runs into this tournament.

I'm aware how hard it is to win a championship. If the Vols won 85% of their basketball games for 20+ years with no ring I'd consider that disappointing after a while

I guess you place too much importance on a large field tournament with a one and done format. Too much randomness to expect a ring in this thing.

Ok Barnes hater . Give me 3 names of coaches we have a reasonable shot at stealing that is better? Some folks just don’t understand how competitive basketball is and how much games are dependent on who has the hot hand. We just went cold tonight and that’s not on the coach. Many of those shots fell during the year. Just not tonight .

I don’t care how clean of defense you play you can’t play for 12 min before being whistled for your first foul. Then they call 3 on Gonzaga on one Memphis possession. That means the fouls have been there all along.

Maybe if we ever get a draw like Kansas’ region. You would’ve thought they were the #1 overall seed with what they got.

So, an interesting discussion or at least I think so. What if the committee did give us UK's 2 seed that we deserved. Then we wouldve played St. Peter's then Murray St.
If we got the 2 we deserved over Duke, a tough matchup against Mich St awaited. If we swapped with Auburn then its a matchup against Miami. Looking past the first round, getting underseeded did end up screwing us unless we swapped with Duke. Lunardi and the committee knew what they were doing in underseeding TN. They set that Michigan matchup up knowing they would give TN all kinds of trouble.

Everything has fallen in place for them……they they have taken advantage. By that I mean “they” have done what it takes, played well, and haven’t wilted under pressure.
