*OFFICIAL* March Madness Game Discussion Thread

Bryson Williams seems like a genuine guy. In the postgame he was thanking people in the TT program and he even thanked the janitors for the work they do.

Gonzaga is the Clemson of men’s college basketball.
They play in a weak conference and run through it most years, and the media loves them.
I’m glad they and the media got a dose this year.

March Madness is a strange thing. Our conference may have crapped the bed (except Arkansas) but I don't think winning it is something we should overlook. All top SEC teams looked better to me then many of the ones who are in the sweet sixteen. Rooting for St. Pete today.

Agreed, pretty sure we could have/ should have beaten many of these teams.
Watching Duke play last night I was thinking how well we would have matched up with them.

You want Ark over Duke?

I couldn't care less if Duke wins another title and lets Coach K ride off into the sunset on top; Duke is already a media darling, and championship number six isn't going to make or break Scheyer's tenure.

I absolutely do not want Musselman to reach a Final Four, let alone hang another title banner in the Bud Walton rafters. Arkansas is decidedly on the upswing and two consecutive Elite Eights is bad enough, so I'd prefer not having another strong in-conference foe against whom to compete on the court and recruiting trail.

At this point, Jay Wright is the best coach left in the tournament. I won't be a bit surprised if he gets #3 this year.
Seem to recall that we had a chance or two to hire him way back when and hired another of our usual disappointments? Such a UT thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

He wouldn’t have lasted here - noticed last night he buttons the top button on his golf shirt, same as that arsehat Jones

I volunteer with an organization that helps orphanages in parts of the US. I had the opportunity to meet two of Arkansas's players and Musselman last year as part of it while in NW Arkansas supporting expanding it. The two players volunteered to get involved -- Jaylin Williams and another player that graduated last year. Jaylin stood out to us. Such a happy and energetic kid. He fell in love with the program after our visit and got involved and still to this day has remained in contact with the kids. I was informed that he sent two of the kids videos from him and other players that he pulled into talking directly to each of the kids by their name from their locker room after their win last night, and sent them late last night (early morning). I am rooting for them.
