I'm sure they are, but what about a Sunday after noon. Or even Sat night. Or even an earlier start on Mondays, it's stupid for people on the East Coast and even dumber for people like me who never get to see champ games because we have to get up so early. Just like week night CBB tips at 9. Do 5 and 7.

If the ratings were better those times, they would play it then. You can’t play football against NFL games. Saturday nights actually are not great for ratings. People plan other activities, and I believe that’s especially true after the pandemic. I don’t like it either, but they do it for the west coast to be after work. Otherwise, no one west of Colorado would watch.

Theyve never really tried either. Sunday afternoon probably isnt the best i agree, but if the AA and NFL wanted to work together they could work it out. The NFL could make as many East coast games as possible by having WC teams play on the EC, and the WC teams they couldnt get to the EC make that their bye week. On Sat i wasnt suggesting Sat night, but do it earlier in the day, say kick off at 330. Game would be over by 7 and give people plenty of time for PM activities as well as have plenty of time for morning activities.

They aren’t going to try it because they already have historical ratings info. The NFL will run it how they want to run it to maximize their product.

They dont know until they try it. They try it and it works, its a win for them, they try it and it fails it would shut people like me and many others up.

No offense, but I don’t think they really care about you and ”many others”. I would suggest that you stay up late, and suck it up without a full night’s sleep for one night.

Cool. You go to work on no sleep and do a job where people could quite literally die if you do it incorrectly and tell me how it goes.
