Self has had his fair share of royal f-ups, just like Roy. But Self has certainly seemed to own the show in head-to-head matchups, although last year was kind of a wash (non score-wise). UNC was not only missing Marshall, but McDonald and Strickland as well. Hell, Henson was playing but that wrist was probably only 70 or 80 percent. No excuse. Kansas won fair and square though.

Don't tell that to a KU fan, they swear they were better with Carolina at full strength.

Iowa State entering a danger zone without Babb and with Lucious playing this poorly. Going to need to stay hot from deep (7/15 now).

And I think NC State matched up better with IU (athletically at least) than Temple. Temple has one consistently good scorer and little else. They also play some very average defense.

Momentum shifting to the Cyclones. Ohio's allowing this to be a perimeter shooting contest and that favors ISU - better at threes, better at rebounding.

Ohio's simply worn down ISU. Without Babb, Hoiberg hasn't subbed anyone this half. This one's over, Bucks to LA.

If this actually goes down, has something like this ever happened in a region? Top 5 seeds out in the first two rounds?
