Will he be coaching UGA next season?

I think he still has one out in firing Mike Bobo and giving his new DC another year to "teach the system".

If they manage to win 8 games he stays, 7 or less and I think he's gone.

Harbaugh won't leave Stanford unless the NFL comes calling. UGA will go after Muschamp or Kirby Smart. They are both UGA boys and one of them will accept.

kirby smart will be the hire if richt is gone. if i am an AD, why make the press of going after muschamp to only have him spurn you. plus...how many games has muschamp won as a head coach? I don't buy why everyone thinks he is God's gift to college football.

i know i will take a hit for saying this, but i will go ahead and risk it. To me, he seems like he is scared of the challenge of becoming a head coach in the SEC. he has had plenty of opportunities and he chose to stay a coordinator at texas in the hopes of taking that program over whenever that will be. if i were an AD in the SEC, I would want someone who relishes the challenge of becoming a big time head coach. he doesn't want it at any school but texas. screw him.

They'll get someone good. Georgia is a hotbed for talent. I still say it will either be Muschamp or Smart. Texas will have to throw A LOT of money at Muschamp for him to stay. It's no secret that UGA is the only job he'd leave for. Smart would easily accept if offered.

Georgia could have a tough time winning 6 games total with the 8 games they have left.

Only 1 gimme that I can see

Colorado
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
Florida
Idaho State
Auburn
Ga Tech

why wouldn't you wait for Texas? it's the easiest head coaching job in the country and you're getting paid millions to do it... recruiting? all in-state... job security? 10 seasons of 10+ wins... easier conference. The fans are way more forgiving too...

Why take on headaches if you don't need to? he's got it made...

I'm sure people assumed that Tennessee could get someone good too...

rumor had it that Muschamp to TN was a done deal if we agreed to let him leave for UGA or TX with no restrictions.

Muschamp is an UGA guy
