Teams that NEED a QB in the NFL:
Cards
Vikings
Indy
Jacksonville
Miami
Jets
Skins
Oakland?
Seattle

All a good fit per their basic need of a proven QB.

Vikings dont - they're set on Ponder from here on out

JAx likely doesn't - the fans are upset at gabbert's play...but it'd be shocking to see them give up on a QB they drafted in the top 10 after just a season...you almost never see that

Oakland just traded a 1st round pick for Carson Palmer, so I'm kind of doubting they're looking at a FA QB again

you forgot Cleveland in your list though (unless they are sold still on McCoy...theyre not clear on that)

Guys, this talk is fun and all, but Peyton isn't coming back. I feel like we would have heard a lot more about it if he was close to being ready to play. He'll be doing games for CBS next season.

He was throwing before the season ended and has been around the complex throwing since the season has ended. You very well could be right but I still think it could go either way.

I would put everything I own on him suiting up again. He may try it then realize he can't, but I just don't see him walking away without trying.

Everything you own, huh? I'm tempted to take that bet.
I just don't want to bet against seeing Peyton play again, since I'd love to see it. Also, I don't do business with Falcons fans.

volfanjustin - I just noticed that you have UT and the Tits as your team logos displayed, but you say, "Go Colts."
Interesting.

Everything I own is a highly subjective term. I am the 99%

As trueorange just mentioned, I lost a bet to HS this season, I hate the Titans, luckily for me I get to change it all back to normal next Sunday.

I liked when the Chiefs brought in Joe Montana late in his career, as well as Marcus Allen. I wouldn't mind seeing PM end his career there.

I agree about Ponder, there is a huge upside, but he struggled greatly at times this year while other first-year QBs were dominating like Dalton and Cam. There's enough weapons on that offense to produce.

While I think Cleveland would certainly take PM over Colt, granted I cannot imagine PM wanting to go there, I just don't see it happening. I mean, it's CLEVEland.

I think Oakland is better with Campbell and were forced to pick up Palmer out of misguided desperation.

Gabbert seemed to regress as the year went on. Only saving grace on that team is obviously MJD. Again, like Ponder, it's an offense with many weapons, so no excuses there.

The Colts owner is a joke. He is thinking he is bigger than he is. He owes everything to Peyton and Tony Dusly he team would obviously suck without Peyton. Show some class. If you have to cut him then that's one thing. But don't trash the guy who built your franchise almost singlehandely.

I think Irsay was right with being upset at Peyton's comments. Peyton really shouldnt have said some of the things he did, JMO.

Who signs Peyton's checks? The owner is as big as it gets.

Irsay did not trash him. He said he is family and loves him.
