Worried about gluten in your alcohol. Twas a joke, mostly.

Gluten allergy is becoming a thing now.. I know a guy who just had part of his intestines removed because he has it, but won't stop drinking. My guts are all messed up from years of debauch and beer/cider is about the only thing that doesn't make me **** blood, lol

Just saying personally but if I got to that point I would have set aside any alcohol before worrying about the gluten in crap beers.

Funny stuff OB. Btw, I passed thru arkyville headed to OKC yesterday. My son deploys in a few days, had to come and hang out with him before he left. At the Main Event having beers tonight.

I drink hard cider now, boss. Its crisp and refreshing, gluten free, and most importantly, its new to me, so I get some kind of psychosomatic exttra buzz off of it.

My brother brought over some Swedish ciders, weren't too bad. There are some Belgian beers called frambroise which are fermented with fruits..dont know if gluten free but they are all good....I mean..or so I've been told.

I thought some of the fly boys and former ground crews might get a kick out of them.

Where is the young lad shipping off to this time?
You should have buzzed grandvol while there and have a beer....

Those are actually called Belgian lambics, as a group. They come in several fruit flavors like framboise (raspberry), kriek (cherry, my fav), peche (peach), etc.

The fermentation process for lambics is unique to a small area of Belgium and can't be reproduced elsewhere.

And you are correct, sir; they are all very good. Lindeman's is a good brand.

He's headed to the Middle East for a few months.

I was hoping GV would see the post and we could hook up somewhere for beers. I don't have his number nor email.

Would have loved to had you caught me a few days ago. Unfortunately, I let everything go last weekend so I'm having to do double duty today and tomorrow with yard work and helping a friend clear out some property.

How long are you in town?

Any beer that is recommended to be served in a wine glass should stop being called "beer."
