You know, I've never owned a bottle but I did have some at a gathering a few months back. I believe it was the 18 and I remember enjoying it, but do not recall taste details. Do you recommend?

ETA - I love Islays, but am also fond of Highland and Speyside scotches. I've never met a Glenmorangie I haven't enjoyed.

Alright guys, update:

I went in for an unscheduled visit to the specialist. My recovery is not going that well. I may have to have another surgery. I go back in 3 weeks. I'm going to try to live off about 800 calories a day so there is little/no traffic in my plumbing, so if I'm especially cranky just think of me as being on my period.

That being said, I know we're not supposed to talk politics in here, but please just let me say this and don't respond. Just take it FWIW:

It made sense for my employer to pay Obamacare penalty and drop us.
I am young, have dual income, and no kids so we got pilfered - monthly premiums went up nearly $200.
I have one proctologist in my network (35 miles away). If she sucks, I am stuck with her. Seems like she sucks.

Sorry to hear, Huff. If you do need another procedure ask about whether PPH would be an option for you. It worked great for my partner.
