At this point of the night though, I'm trying to actually lie down in bed.

Problem is the dog has decided she is going to lay sideways on the bed. And pretty much is given me the "**** you, daddy" look when I try to move her. It's not easy to get a 85 pound German Shepherd moved around when she's being stubborn. And apparently my attempts to move her are signals of "it's time to get my belly scratched" so she just rolls over and takes up even more space.

I can't be mean to animals. People, sure. But not animals.

You've seen my dog. She's not what most would consider a "normal" sized dog especially for a female GSD.

I do what I want. Almost all my decisions are ****ing terrible, but I stand by 'em. Some might say I only stand by them so I can hang on to them for dear life and avoid collapsing. But it is what it is.

I've been hunting many times, and though it's not really my thing, I don't have a problem with it as long as you're eating the meat and not hunting some endangered species.

However, some forms of "hunting" are just pathetic, and no one should ever be proud of doing it. This story is an example of that. There's nothing to be proud of in baiting an animal that has little fear of humans, you're simply leading it to the slaughter. All these excursions, where the guides lead you straight to the baited animal, they're all so fake. I can't understand how someone would get any fulfillment from doing that, other than being able to tell their buddy "I shot a lion!", as if you stalked it through the jungle for a few days, came within an inch of your life, and managed to barely survive by the skin of your teeth. But you did it, you defeated the beast! No, you did nothing that anyone couldn't do with a rifle in their hand, a guide to lead you right to the animal, and a park to profit off your weird desires. You just paid for an animal carcass. You didn't do anything to earn that kill. It's just pitiful.

My friend's german shepard passed away a few months back, she was the best dog. Looked like a polar bear/wolf, she was pure white. You would think a dog that looked like that would be bought from a breeder for a lot of money, but nope, she was just a dog from the pound. Nicest dog I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Makes me realize how much time has passed by when childhood pets start dying off.

Got a new comcast plan and the other day the guy came to replace my modem and router with their comcast combo unit. Either my internet is being throttled or their modem is absolute dog****, but something isn't right. My download speeds are 0~20kbs. I have a feeling I'm being throttled because I torrent, but I'm open to the possibility that this new comcast modem is garbage. I hate comcast so much.

There are some suspicious happenings that lead me to believe something more is going on aside from it being a piece of **** equipment. I'll have more conclusive data when I run some more tests and have some words with them tomorrow.
