If you are traveling during normal work hours (as defined by your companies normal operation) to a remote (just away from your normal reporting place) they have to pay you at least minimum wage. This applies to the use of public conveyance as your mode of travel. If you are flying out on a Sunday to be at work on Monday and normally your company doesn't operate on Sunday, they don't have to pay you anything.

If you report to a designated spot and then transported to the job site in a company truck, they should pay normal wages.

Congrats dink. I have been the same way as you have with relationships and have been playing the field for a while without any serious thoughts on commitment. It has changed for me as well here recently

This is what I found out. We had the meeting shortened today so it wasn't discussed.

It was also implied to me that we need to "fudge" log books. By law we are required to take a 30 minute break after 8 hours. They want us to show the off time but continue to work.

Thing is, we are exempt from having to maintain a log book.

It's going to nasty.

Make sure you write down exactly what was said as soon as possible. Keep a record and keep it fresh.

Yeah, can't fudge log books or ask you to work off the clock. Sounds like someone underbid the job.

Congrats Dink, hope you have been living in sin for awhile. Always nice to know if she leaves her Stayfrees in the bathroom trash or dispose in the road side trash can. Know wut I mean?
