I had so much to drink last night even my dreams were drunk.

Johnny and Phil took over the program in a backroom deal and Johnny got the decision making powers.

Game is tied at nothing with 3 minutes left with UGA backed up. After they punt, Johnny puts Dormady in and the stadium is floored.

Quick kicks it on first down and Majors runs out on the field himself to down it on the 1 inch line, wtf

Maybe I should give hard cider a try.

No. We are a team that had a very good coach win a National Championship then got complacent and did great harm to the program.

We had AD department reward said coach with a new contract with a $6 million in 2007 ,then fired him the next season costing the University the $6 million.

That was followed up up a splash hire that the AD did not cover their butt concerning the hires dream job, that became open the next sesaon. Presto we were out of a coach at a very bad time of the year.

We follow that by hiring a coach with a losing record with a law degree, again the AD negotiates a bad deal. The losing coach did what losing coaches do, he continued to lose. This mistake cost the university another $5 million, by that time the roster was depleted so bad, the Tennessee job turned into a togh rebuilding job in a tough conference. A headache most coaches didn't want.

Then came the Up and Comer who had a winning record at 2 lower tier programs that knew how to sell himself. The AD jumps all over him, this time they increase the coaches buyout to 8 figures, another stupid move.

This Up and Comer cam recruit with the best, terrible on field coach that needs to be fired which would cost the university another $10,000,000.00.

The only good side, the talent is here thanks to the recruiting. It would be easier to hire a proven coach. The question now is does the university bite the $10 million and fire him or pay him 3.5 million for another year or two while the talent level falls then start over with a new coach that has very little talent to work with.

I say bite the bullet, get someone in here that can coach , if not we will suffer more years of disappointment. The problem with that is as long as fans fill the stadium and buy Volgear, why pay the extra money since losing still brings in big money. It is a dilemma.

The situation at UT is not unlike Florida last year. You just feel like the team is underachieving and you figure it has to be the coaching. It was in our case. We hired someone 98 percent of the fan base had never heard of. You may need to do the same.

Well, on to other subjects, anyone have any advice on either Direct TV or Dish?

**** Cox Communications. Five ****ing service calls. Two blown off, two no shows, one ****ing time out of five where a ****ing technician actually ****ing showed up.

I think I'll set up a service appointment for them to collect their box. They'll have a 20% chance of me actually being at home to get it.

I had Direct for 5 years, loved the service, hated the rate.

I switched to Charter/ Spectrum a fee months ago.

I have no expierence with Dish. They are/were rated #1 when I made my switch to cable. They now have a two year commitment with a two year price guarantee. If they were offering that when I made the change I would have Dish today.

We have LG. 99.54% of our fans had to Google Derrick Dooley.

The Florida coach was not acruelly an unknown. I posted at the time of him being hired he was a good hire.

Man if that stuff in the FF is true, its no damn wonder the oline has been so terrible. Remember that when Butch was hired, the linemen were basically begging in public to keep Pittman, and instead we get Mahoney

If it's true, it saves the buy out money.

Terrible for the program but may be a blessing in the long run

Do we have anyone on the staff you'd be comfortable with being the interim HC?

I've got a chart that tells me when I should do what. I would also like to note that I am currently in a winning streak with my brother in law on NCAA on the ps3.

CORRECTION TO ABOVE POST concerning the buyout numbers. The below was posted in another thread and seems to be a more realistic buyout number.

Buyout before Mar 2016 is $4M total. After Mar 16 it's $3M and decreases $1M annually after that. I've seen people talking about $12M and $18M buyouts, but the contract simply isn't structured that way.

I've read that too. Changes the parameters considerably. No to mention, if the tumors in the football forum are true, the money won't be a issue.

What do you guys think of the FF rumor thread? I would have thought we'd have heard about that earlier, don't you?

No.

It's coming to light (I believe) because this way they can fire him and not have to pay the buy out.

Somebody let it leak. Booster maybe?

Just go away. I know that you are sitting at your computer laughing your ass off at our misery. I have said it before and I will say it again. **** you.
