Lol, y'all know I'm exaggerating. I've had to stop the fun a bunch of times for drug tests. Never was an issue beyond mild annoyance.

Though I don't know why I haven't drank in a week. That just kind of happened organically. The jags play today though, so that might force me to break my unintentional dry spell. :)

I think I have been drier since Cyclops met his demise. Didn't drink that much to begin with and didn't know him but somehow seeing what happened made me less thirsty.

I.E. When the tie itself is too short to effectively tie a Windsor or double into it, it ends up being really short on the shirt and looks goofy as hell.

Hence my rant against ties yesterday.
Since a lot of male flight attendants are really into fashion, I have seen some interesting tie knots. I asked once and got referred to, of course, the interwebs. Here are a few videos to show different knots besides the usual windsor and double windsor. A couple of these are actually pretty cool, but some are just plain weird. The third video shows one that is pretty easy to tie, and actually looks pretty cool. (It does take a little practice) But like you said, you have to balance the small end to prevent it from looking too goofy. Short ties do not work well here though.

I won't wear a clip-on but must admit bow ties give me problems sometimes. Some days are easy and perfect, others a nightmare.

Bunch of elitist in here.

I only wear ties for two reasons.

Funerals and weddings. I don't care for either.

I'll go on record. If/when I divorce. I won't do it again. (Marriage)

Find your best friend, ruin his marriage. Then the two of you can be the first pair of friends on record to have ever simulttaneously...nevermind.

Anyone ever go to Lowes or Home Depot hungry but ignoring that hunger because you are on a mission to buy something for your house and walk out and they are grilling sausages so you decide to go to the grocery store to get your own sausages to grill up with some awesome cuban baguette thingies but then you remember that you don't really eat carbs too much but say F it I'm going to grab a bunch of beer then you get home and slam a beer and realize that you aren't going to get anything done so you decide to log onto Volnation and write out a super long run on sentence?

So I bought a 2001 Acura Cl with only 70k miles on it for 4k. It was well taken care of and had regular maintenance even though it was barely driven for the past few years.

Did I get a decent deal?

Car was driven 5k miles a year???

ETA: We bought a used MDX and have loved it. Acuras are really phenomenal for reliability. Beware of transmission issues at 200k miles, though.

The original owner was an older gentleman who only used it daily for a few years. Unfortunately he got sick and couldn't drive anymore so it sat around for a long time until his relative bought it off him. The relative kept it as a third car and he rarely used it.
