Guys....just got back from 2 weeks in Costa Rica and now I have a keyboard and fast internet...you're all in trouble.

Where is that?

We stayed in the capital for New Year's eve and found a cool cosmopolitan party. Then we roughed it for 13 days. Went to Limon. Stayed on the southeast side in Puerto Viejo (area used to be center of slave trade and is now Rasta culture). They have great surfing there, which is crazy for the Carribean.

We spent our days in Playa Negra, Salsa Brava, Cahuita, Cocles, Punta Uva, and Manzanillo. There wasn't even a road to Manzanillo until 2007, or so. I recommend it all (but probably not if you're taking kids).
