Speaking of apes and music, have you ever listened to "I'm Going Down" by The Monkees? Seriously, it's a heck of a song, Mickey Dolenz singing. Check it out . Breaking Bad used it on a meth making episode.

I doubt it, but don't know. It's called scat music, and is one of the most frantic songs I have heard. Kind of jazzy, very different.

When you get a minute, listen to Goin Down again with the lyrics. It's listed "Goin Down by the monkees lyrics". It is hilarious when you can understand the words.
It is about a guy who broke up with his woman, got drunk, and jumped in the river to drown, but had second thoughts. It starts out "Floatin down the river with a saturated liver."

This drunken kid story just keeps getting worse.... Apparently the kid was laying on his back between a row of bleachers when he first went down and may have choked on his own vomit. Word on social media is that he may have gone several minutes without oxygen. This is awful....

With all this talk of coaches doing sleepovers at recruits houses to gain an inner track, I think this idea could be expanded.

I suppose I'll take one for the team and volunteer my services for the NFL cheerleader recruiting sleepover. It's a dirty job, but someone will have to do it.

Anyone know where I can get a truck load of feather pillows for the nightly feather pillow fights?

Well it's snowing, have about an inch here. I hate to, but guess I will take the day off work and spend a little time on VN.

It was snowing here when I got up at 6:45. The school board called off school today yesterday afternoon. Looks like it was a good move by the board.

I get why they make that move so early, just easy to laugh at it after the fact and after nothing at all happens. I was disappointed, they normally delay opening the post when the schools delay reporting to school. Was hoping to get a couple extra hours of sleep this morning.
