Watching that UNC game last night, it's hard to fathom that this team was in the national championship game last year with nearly all the same guys. Their offensive flow was terrible, and it looks like defenses can pack it in on Bacot because they don't appear to have any shooters. I'm not even sure Bacot touched the ball more than twice in the last 10 minutes. He was in foul trouble, but even when he was in there they couldn't or wouldn't get him the ball.North Carolina and Baylor lost but probably what was the biggest of the 3 Texas Tech beat Texas, that’s #60 NET Texas Tech btw. Yet another Top 10 team losing to an unranked team.
And four of our last five games are currently Q1. Opportunities abound. We’ve talked a lot about this team not having as many Q1 wins as other grand etc, but does any other team in the country have 3 NET Top 10 wins? It doesn’t appear so from what I’ve saw, so while we currently don’t have a bunch of Q1 wins we’ve got the best Top wins resume out there.
Vols back to the top 2 seed. That was a big win!
Their resume is quite a bit better, actually. We have the nicer collection of top-shelf wins, maybe, but they have 12 Q1 wins where we have only played 8 total Q1 games (6-2). They have 3 wins against the AP top-10, same as us, they have one less loss, and they have much better losses (all 5 to ranked teams). If the season ended today, I would be frustrated that Texas is ahead of us in Lunardi’s eyes. I’m not sure their resume is any better than ours. They have better losses, we have better wins IMO. And we have the head to head.

My bad…somehow I read Texas as Kansas in your post.
