For sure…worst case that I see right now is getting Greensboro and drawing Duke or UNC in a 2nd round matchup, that would suck.
I’m glad several of you are thinking Purdue will lose a couple. Edey looks like an unmovable force right now and he makes his free throws if you decide to hack himWe can prove our point of deserving a higher 1 seed simply by beating Ala. twice and Ky at Rupp.
Do that and case closed. Purdue will lose 1 or 2 games, Houston may not have another loss.
If we take care of business with Ala and Ky, Houston and UT should be the top overall seeds, not necessarily in that order.
They could put UT and Alabama in Birmingham while in different brackets. Would make it an impossible 2nd day ticket. We have to stay ahead of either Houston or Alabama to get Birmingham. I really hope we do because 1) you know if they have the opportunity to put Duke or UNC in Greensboro, they'll take it, and 2) Thursday/Saturday works much better for my schedule than Friday/Sunday which Greensboro is.
Absolutely they could. My point was that Birmingham is off the table if Alabama and Houston are ahead of us. Even if we are ahead, I wonder if they still give Birmingham to those 2 and ship us to Greensboro since it's only 30 more miles. They could put UT and Alabama in Birmingham while in different brackets. Yes we would absolutely be in Greensboro. And I'm fine with that.Absolutely they could. My point was that Birmingham is off the table if Alabama and Houston are ahead of us. There’s been some recent years where when you’re already far like Houston is from Birmingham they just put you wherever, at 700 miles what’s 1,000 miles, they’ll consider what’s easier flights for folks to get as most aren’t driving 700 miles. So Orlando, Sacramento and Denver all could theoretically make more sense for Houston than Birmingham.Absolutely they could.
