There is no way we should ever have to play in the NIT or play in game--3 years in a row. Mediocrity. Next year we may not get a sniff of either.

Let's beat Iowa, UMass (for goodness sakes how did they get a better seed than us and Iowa), and then get Duke. I believe this is doable if we can be our usual inconsistent selves in a good way.

No that means with out the extra game NCSU and XU would not have made a 64 team field. We would have still made it.

Thank you. I don't understand the ignorance on this board. Playing a 4 seed in first round as a 12 seed is a deathnail. An 11 seed albeit a play in game has a great chance at round of 32 & plenty of craziness can happen getting is to 16.

I don't get Kentucky as an 8 seed.

And I'd be pissed that we're in a play in, but I actually like our chances where we are. We should be the favorite to beat both Iowa and UMass, and it's certainly not outside the realm of possibility that we upset Duke.
