Official Thread of the LSU game....

I think everybody knows that if we had Ainge in the game it would have been a win for us.Hats off to Crompton, good job guy.

No, If Cutcliffe had the balls to call plays that were more down field instead of WR screens on 1st and ten that in my memory hasn't done one damn bit of good for us this year we would have one.

You know the defences in ability to tackle and over run every offensive play that LSU ran tonight might have helped.

You all can say what you want about the offensive line but Foster needs to go. He is not that good and we have better (Hardesty). Jakouri Williams wouldn't see the scout team if I was the coach.

You suppose Hogs would be around here had we won? I dont think so.

I am pretty confident that next weeks game will be another good one, but I am more confident that GoHogsGo will not be around here running your mouth if you guys lose.

i don't know. crompton played a hell of a game. that fake punt killed us. i called that, told my daughter right before it happened. we were just plain outcoached tonight. les miles proves he is better than fulmer.

I don't think we missed Ainge so much as we missed the confidence the team and coaches have in Ainge and don't have in Crompton yet because he was unproven and inexperienced. When things are tough, the mental factors are everything, and our D especially played tight and frantic- the O, which is around him more and knew his mettle, consequently played with more faith in him and the team's ability....

After this one, I'd feel great about Crompton starting next week- especially with a week of reviewing what happened and Chavis reaming the hell out of his boys

hogs......i would save ur smack until after u've played us....coming on to the losing teams board and mocking them after a close loss (unlike the USC game) is classless.....at least we've been competetive in all of our games......u wanna talk about excuses......why don't u try and explain ur opening game?

:good!:

You're kidding, right?

Foster is the only reason we had any kind of running game tonight.

The offensive line is weak. Bottom line. They can't open up holes for the running back and that is the reason we can't run the ball.

That's some Hog class there.

great game Atreus (to your team). Generally, a team has to be very good to turn it over 4 times and win. No excuses here - don't feel like any are needed. All things considered, I'm pretty proud of my team anyway. I think we're still a top 10 team, although we won't be in the new poll.

Yeah I was real high on Chavis this year and I have always been but I'm really getting tired of the "don't let them get the big one" we'll just let your drive down the field for 10 minutes on 12 yards passes and 40 yard QB scrambles by a 6'6 270 lb. QB. then we'll let you score.

I think one area we got ourselves into trouble was the trust the offense had in the D. When you D is as down as it was in this game, you gotta have some balls on O.

we had a run game? I though foster was supposed to be passing and just kept getting sacked. Why else was he running side to side?

lets not forget.....we lost our best run stopper and member of the secondary.....while i agree that the bend-don't-break style is not my favorite way to play.....u have to play with ur personel.....

He was running side to side because as soon as the ball was snapped, the offensive line was blown up and there were guys in the backfield. It is impossible to have a running game when the blocking is that bad.

just saw the replay of LSU winnin TD, 3 defenders went to cover the back outa the back field and that left the big gap in the endzone

I said it again and again and I'm not comming off of it. Foster is not good. He is hesitant and thinks to much instead of running the ball.

One of his only runs that was anything other than run think about it then stoped for a 1 yard run was on where the hole was big enough to run a family of 5 with a dog through.

He's not good. <-------My opinion.

You're entitled to yours.
