Derek Lowe vs. Chris Carpenter tonight in game two of the four game set.

Carpenter has allowed 1 hit through 7 innings.

Eckstein 4-4 so far and Duncan was 3-4 with a two-run homer before they pinch ran for him with Taguchi.

Only 75 pitches thrown thus far by Carp.

Kent, Ethier, and Izturis batting for the Dodgers in the top of the 8th. 4-0 Cardinals.

Miles fouled out, Carp sac bunted Molina to second, and Eckstein ended his perfect night at the plate by grounding out to third base.

Pitcher's spot, Furcal, and Lofton to bat in the 9th for the Dodgers.

Cardinals win 5-0 behind a frickin' GEM from Carpenter.

Complete game, two hit, shutout. No walks and 7 Ks. Very nice.

Pujols 1-4 with his 78th RBI.

Hendrickson vs. Reyes tomorrow night.

Cardinals win their 6th game in a row and clinch the series win against the Dodgers with another extra inning 2-1 win today.

Pujols 2-3 with #31, a double, and two walks.

Rolen with the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 10th.

Suppan pitched a very good game by his standards. Allowed only 1 run through 7 innings.

Cards win their 7th in a row as they sweep the four game set from the Dodgers 11-3.

Pujols 4-5 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.

Another good day at the plate for Duncan as he went 3-4.

Several guys had good days at the plate actually.

Nice outing for Reyes on the mound, only gave up 2 runs in 5 innings. Pitching has really came around lately.

Extended batting practice still under way for the Braves. 13-2 Atlanta through 6 innings.

Weaver was horrible in his first start, and the bullpen wanted to make him feel welcome so they've been horrible as well. Ooof.

Pujols with his 83rd RBI on a double before he was replaced.

The rally is squashed. Oh well.

15 runs and 20 hits for the Braves. That'll usually get you a win.

Weaver sucked, Flores sucked, Hancock sucked, and Kinney sucked. They all gave up at least 2 runs in their stints in the game. Wow. Just atrocious.
